An insight on my art: MIa DayQualkinbush

With inspiration from Jim Dine for media, Anselm Kiefer, texture,
William Morris, detail and pattern and Edgar Degas, colour. I created a
series of five, three of which are displayed on Kim Sang Soo website. It is
a mixed media work of acrylic paint, ink, shellac, plaster and oil
pastels.  My main objective was to explore different techniques and
textures.
